Hello! English’s method ”Creative Movement in English” is an innovative, research-based curriculum founded on the knowledge, now confirmed through brain research, that our bodies and minds are interdependent and that young children need to physically experience concepts to fully understand them. For young children, language acquisition is most effective through exploration and discovery, movement, play and active learning.
Our series of classes work with each of the child’s appropriate developmental stages and complement school learning by encouraging physical activity, creativity, cultural awareness and artistic expression to promote a healthy lifestyle. The classes are specially designed to be taught using simple and age-appropriate vocabulary that allows children to practice and expand their English in a fun environment without inhibitions. Through movement, music, and physical expression their language skills develop naturally and spontaneously.
In 2015 we launched Hello! for Teachers to provide development workshops for English teachers in schools, giving them the tools necessary to include dance, music and theater in their classes. Using the performing arts helps teachers improve students’ focus, interest in and understanding of the subject matter.
In 2018, due to its success in Madrid, the team at Hello! English is thrilled to be expanding across Spain!
